Privacy policy

We handle your data with care. Here we explain what data we process and why.

Only the German version is legally binding.

Controller

GetLeedz GmbH, Walter Fürst-Str. 1, 4102 Binningen, info@bewerbino.com

From age 15

Bewerbino is meant for people aged 15 and over. If you are under 18, talk to your parents or legal guardian first: they should know that you upload your documents here and that Bewerbino prepares applications in your name.

What data we process

Account data (email address), your profile and CV text, the application documents created by Bewerbino, payment data (handled by a payment service provider; we never see your card details) and technical usage data.

Purposes

Providing the service (finding matching jobs, creating cover letters and, at your request, sending them to employers together with your documents), as well as payment processing and security.

Who receives your data

Employers: your application and documents only go to companies you have approved them for.

Service providers working on our behalf (processors, contractually bound to our instructions and to confidentiality):

  • Hosting of database, login and file storage (EU, Ireland)
  • Text generation and reading your documents (USA)
  • Email delivery (Switzerland)
  • Creation of PDF documents (USA)
  • Website operation (USA, worldwide delivery)
  • Payment processing (EU, Ireland, with processing in the USA)
  • Protection of login and forms against automated access (USA)
  • Approximate location from the IP address at login, to detect misuse (outside Switzerland)
  • Querying job portals: only search terms and region are passed on, no information about you

Sign-in with Google: if you choose it, Google learns that you are signing in to Bewerbino, and we receive your email address and name from Google.

Transfers abroad: your data is processed in Switzerland, the EU and the USA. For the EU, the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of protection. For the USA, we rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient participates in it, otherwise on the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). On request to info@bewerbino.com, we will tell you exactly which service providers are involved.

No use for training language models

Your documents and texts are used exclusively for your job search and your applications. They are not sold, not used for advertising and not used to train language models.

Retention period

We store your data for as long as your account exists or as long as necessary for the purposes stated. If you close your account, we delete your documents and files, the application documents created and your profile. We keep booking and payment records where the law requires it. We keep your email address internally even after closure, so that the starter credits are granted only once per person. The link through which a company opens your application file expires after 90 days. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data and to restrict its processing. To do so, contact info@bewerbino.com.

Cookies and audience measurement

Technically necessary cookies or local storage keep you logged in.

Bewerbino also counts by itself how often each page is viewed, how long a visit lasts and how someone found us (ad, search engine, referral or direct entry). For this, a random, non-personal visit ID is kept in your browser’s local storage. This data stays with us in Switzerland or the EU and is not passed on to anyone. We do not store your IP address for this.

Our pages also run the TikTok pixel of TikTok Technology Limited (Ireland), the Meta pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Facebook, Instagram) and the Google tag for Google Ads of Google Ireland Limited. They measure whether a visit comes from one of our ads and whether it leads to a sign-up. Technical data such as IP address, browser, page viewed and an ID from the ad click is transmitted. Data may also be processed in the USA. If you create an account, we additionally report this directly from our server to Meta, so that the sign-up can be attributed to the ad. Your email address and account ID go to Meta only as a hash (SHA-256), together with IP address, browser and the ID from the ad click. Google likewise receives your email address at sign-up only as a hash (SHA-256). If you came via a Google ad, we keep its click ID for 90 days in a cookie and then with your account. Your application documents and your CV are never transmitted. You can block this measurement with an ad blocker or your browser’s Do Not Track setting; the service works fully without it.

Legal basis: Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), supplemented by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
