Bewerbino

Frequently asked questions

What Bewerbino takes on, what stays with you, what it costs and how your data is protected.

What is Bewerbino?

Bewerbino is a Swiss tool for your job search. It reads job ads, matches them against your profile, drafts cover letters and keeps your RAV job search form up to date. You make the decisions: which job, which text, which application goes out. At the interview, you present yourself.

Does Bewerbino handle my whole application?

No, and that’s on purpose. Bewerbino does the legwork: reading ads, sorting them, writing a first draft, keeping your job search record. You check every draft, adjust it and approve it. The interview is yours, and that’s where you win the job. Nobody can do that preparation for you.

Why Bewerbino instead of searching every day myself?

Because reading and comparing job ads eats up hours you can spend better. Bewerbino reads in minutes what would take you whole evenings and only shows you what fits. Put the time you save into further training and preparing for interviews.

How does Bewerbino find jobs?

Bewerbino reads your profile from your CV and reference letters and searches Swiss job portals: jobs.ch, the Job-Room on arbeit.swiss, the job portals of the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft and, for teachers, school portals. Every job is checked against your workload, region, languages, education and exclusions. You see which criteria it meets and get a link to the original ad.

When does Bewerbino search, and how much?

With autopilot, Bewerbino looks for new jobs every weekday morning at 6 am, Monday to Friday, never at weekends. You decide how many jobs per day: 1 to 5. You can also start a single search at any time. A cover letter is only written when you ask for one for a specific job.

Does Bewerbino send applications automatically?

No. Every application lands with you first: company, job and draft. You decide whether it goes out. If the ad asks you to apply through the company’s portal, Bewerbino sticks to that and gets your cover letter and CV ready for upload.

Does Bewerbino write the cover letter for me?

Bewerbino drafts a separate letter for every job, based on your documents and the requirements in the ad. You read the draft, edit it right in the editor and only approve it once every statement is true and it sounds like you.

Does Bewerbino really find jobs that fit?

For every job, Bewerbino shows you which of your criteria it meets. Anything that clearly doesn’t fit, like a different workload or an excluded word, is filtered out first. And the search learns from you: dismiss a company or a job title and Bewerbino won’t suggest it again.

Which documents do I need?

CV, reference letters, employment confirmations, school reports, diplomas, certificates, certificates of attendance and recommendation letters, as PDF, JPG or PNG, even photographed with your phone or combined in one PDF. Bewerbino sorts each document by its content. Bewerbino doesn’t accept other documents, because they don’t belong in an application.

Which data does Bewerbino need, and which not?

For the search, your professional profile is what counts: experience, education, diplomas, skills, languages and where you want to work. Bewerbino doesn’t need your AHV number, date of birth, photo, marital status, religion or nationality. That way you’re judged on what you can do. Your name, address and contact details appear as the sender of your application, and it only goes out once you approve it.

How much does Bewerbino cost?

A complete application costs 5 Credits, so CHF 8 (1 Credit = CHF 1.60): 4 Credits for a job found, 1 Credit for the cover letter. You only pay for what Bewerbino actually delivers. If Bewerbino finds nothing, the search costs nothing. One letter Credit covers up to five versions of the same application. Sending is free, the RAV job search form costs 1 Credit per line. On us to start: 5 matching jobs and 2 cover letters (22 Credits). Then CHF 8 per application, no credit card. No subscription, Credits never expire.

Does Bewerbino fill in the RAV job search form?

Yes. From the applications you choose, Bewerbino fills in the official record of personal job search efforts (SECO form 716.007): date, company, job and type of application. You check the details and sign it yourself. Cost: 1 Credit per line.

Who is Bewerbino for?

For job seekers who want to stay in charge of their search and save time doing it: from apprenticeships to leadership roles, in every industry, all over Switzerland. And for RAV offices, social services and work integration programmes that support job seekers along the way.

Which languages does Bewerbino write the cover letter in?

Bewerbino searches in the language of the region, so in German, French or Italian. Bewerbino drafts the cover letter in the language of the job ad: German, French, Italian or English.
